The Sarawak cultural village is an synthetic village that features all the ethnic
groups and they cultural heritage all under one roof. Located near the Santubong
Beach,30KM off Kuching, it makes an ideal tourist destination.
The Rajang river, longest in
the South East Asia. It still servesas
an important method of transportation to the interior people. The Rajang river
has a rich history especially during the colonial ruling.
Kuching
Civic Centre is proof that Kuching is inline with the flow of technology. No longer
an argiculture state, Sarawak has transformed into an industrial state.
Long houses are no longer
existant in Kuching.Although
there might be a few in the deep deep interior of Sarawak. However, efforts are
made by the Government to preserve this herritage.
